Tablet Intercom
Mount a compatible touchscreen tablet in a secure enclosure for a permanent JAXIAN entrance directory. This is the primary JAXIAN apartment-building experience.
QR Intercom
Where a simpler installation is preferred, display a JAXIAN QR code so visitors can open the building directory on their own phone.
Add JAXIAN Access
When the building is ready for integrated controlled-door access, move up to JAXIAN Access.
Hardware without the lock-in
Designed to be replaceable, not irreplaceable.
Traditional intercom systems often depend on proprietary touchscreen door stations. JAXIAN can use readily available touchscreen hardware in a secure enclosure, so the entrance display is a replaceable component of the system — not the system itself.
Purpose-built commercial hardware can be the right choice for demanding environments. For many protected apartment entrances, however, a quality tablet can provide a practical and more economical option. If the tablet eventually reaches the end of its useful life, it can be replaced without replacing the JAXIAN platform or rebuilding the whole intercom.
Hardware selection should always consider the entrance environment, including exposure to weather, heat, direct sunlight, vandalism and continuous operation.
